PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya returns to provide rice quality testing laboratory for rice traders, especially rice traders at Cipinang Rice Central Market (PIBC).
The results will affect the rice's selling value
PIBC Head, Herry Awal Fajar said that rice quality testing laboratory was provided as a complement to the previous lab at SRG Warehouse. This laboratory was initiated in early 2020 and realized by the end of 2020.
"Currently, the lab operates at 8 AM-3 PM
. It is located behind Bank DKI office at PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Head Office, PIBC Complex," he informed, Tuesday (1/12).Food Station Continues Food Security Program in 2021This rice quality testing lab is provided for rice traders, who sell rice both in PIBC and outside PIBC, to find out the quality of rice they sell.
"In this lab, they can find out the fracture level, moisture content, whiteness, rice transparency and others. The results will affect the rice's selling value. We assigned an officer to serve rice traders who want to test the samples," he conveyed.
According to him, PIBC rice traders who want to use facility in this lab will get discount Rp 40,000. While rice traders outside PIBC will be charge a normal price of Rp 150,000.
Rice traders who want to use facility in this lab must show their trader card as a proof that they are traders at PIBC and bring minimum 300 grams of rice as the sample.
He hopes rice traders at PIBC can take advantage of facilities in this rice quality test laboratory.
"Hopefully the rice quality which sold by traders at PIBC is in accordance with government's provisions. Thus it will make consumer can feel more secure about the rice quality," he closed.
